Commercial Painting FAQ
-
Is there a difference between Commercial Painting and industrial painting?
Although commercial painting and industrial painting are in effect a paint job on a building used for business proposes the goals associated with these painting jobs differ ever so slightly.
In most cases, commercial painting is concerned with painting an area that a business’s clients will see. This area could be a retail space, a restaurant front-of-house, a hotel’s reception area etc.
With this in mind commercial painting is very much concerned with creating a paint job that reflects the business’s brand. For example, a retail space in a youth-orientated retail store will likely have bright vibrant pigments. While a solicitors office that welcomes clients will opt for a more muted colour palette.
On the other hand industrial painting refers to areas that a business’s clients will likely not see. e.g. factories, processing plants, closed offices, etc. These painting jobs present their own set of challenges. Certain industries may require specific paint types, while extra care may need to be taken around sensitive equipment.
